Expansion
Expansion is a valuable tool in algebra and it involves multiplying out two or more algebraic factors. The technique is valuable for solving equations, adding and subtracting fractions, simplifying fractions and most calculus (differentiation, integration, limits). Expansion is straight forward as it essentially relies on one simple result, but the danger is to rush the work and make mistakes. Practice is important so expansion becomes second-nature to you, which we hope it will be after you complete work presented here.
